Service terms
Effective 15 October 2026. Pageweft is operated by Amir Gomaa, an independent developer based in Egypt. Contact: mo.gomaa.formal@gmail.com.
What the service provides
Pageweft converts PDFs you are authorized to process into Markdown and associated files. You can inspect a PDF, select pages, review extraction against the source, make corrections and download an archive. Maximum upload: 64 MiB and 1,000 pages. Scans, equations, tables, pronunciation symbols and complex layouts can require manual correction. The service does not guarantee perfect transcription, learning outcomes or professional accuracy.
Processing credits and prices
The bounded free sample processes one selected page, subject to global availability and abuse limits. Once payments open, $5 and $10 USD packs buy non-transferable, non-withdrawable processing credits. There is no subscription or recurring access fee. Credits do not expire. Applicable sales tax is displayed separately before payment. Credits are software-processing allowances, not deposits or a financial account.
MinerU conversion costs $0.50 per job plus $0.005 per selected page. Text-only conversion costs $0.25 per job plus $0.001 per selected page and omits image/layout reconstruction. Reprocessing costs $0.20 plus the relevant per-page charge. A quote is displayed before confirmation; credit is reserved before work starts. The job fee is charged when a section succeeds; successful pages are charged, failed or unprocessed sections release their reserved allowance. Do not submit another paid job merely because dispatch is uncertain; check the existing job first.
Payment and access
When enabled, Paddle acts as merchant of record and handles checkout, applicable sales taxes, receipts and payment processing under the terms shown at checkout. Your credits appear only after server verification. Save your private Pageweft recovery key before purchase: it restores the workspace, credits and files that have not expired. A receipt or transaction ID alone does not grant account access. We cannot promise automated restoration if both the browser session and recovery key are lost; contact support for a purchase-ownership review. Never send a recovery key or confidential PDF by email.
Your documents and responsibility
You retain your rights to uploaded material and output. Give us only the limited permission needed to store and process your uploads for this service. You must have the right to process them. Do not upload unlawful material, malware or documents requiring a regulated or contractual processing arrangement we have not agreed to. Source files and results are removed after their 48-hour retention period by scheduled cleanup; download what you need in time. Financial records and credit balances are retained separately.
Refunds, availability and changes
The refund policy forms part of these terms. Refunded or disputed credits are revoked; a refund after consumption may leave a negative balance that prevents further processing. Previously completed files remain available until normal expiry. Service may be paused for safety, maintenance or abuse. A shutdown does not remove applicable refund rights for undelivered service. Existing confirmed quotes are not repriced after confirmation; material future price or policy changes will be shown before a new purchase or processing request.
Applicable mandatory consumer rights remain in force. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. This notice does not assert that merchant verification or paid checkout is already active.
